President Trump says that he'll release the transcript of a July call with Ukraine's president to prove 'there was no pressure' put on the nation to probe Joe Biden and his son to secure the release of military aid.
Trump told reporters waiting for him outside the United Nations that he initially withheld $390 million from Ukraine as a tactic to squeeze defense dollars out of European nations.
'When you see the call, when you see the readout of the call, which I assume you'll see at some point, that call was perfect. There was no pressure put on them whatsoever,' he said of his conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He quickly added, 'But there was pressure put on with respect to Joe Biden. That's something they should be looking at.'
