Daily Mail: White House scrambles to deal with 'scary' coronavirus outbreak among staff and trace its 'patient zero' - but Mike Pence defies guidance by returning to work despite being exposed himself

* The vice president is returning to work Monday, his staff said
* On Friday Vice President Mike Pence's Spokeswoman Katie Miller and one of the president's personal Navy valets both tested positive for coronavirus
* Maskless agents have guarded President Trump when he leaves the White House or appears on camera but will now have their faces covered
* Top White House Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett admitted Sunday that he's scared to go to work

* Hassett also made the assertion as some states begin easing lockdowns and allow non-essential businesses to reopen and people to go back to work
* No state is fully reopened yet, but many counties are well on their way

His aide Katie Miller tested positive on Friday after displaying symptoms on Thursday, when she went with the vice president to a nursing home near Washington D.C., and neither wore masks.

Her contacts were traced Friday. As well as being Pence's press secretary, she is spokeswoman for the coronavirus task force which he leads.
